Spring Has Sprung

Spring has finally sprung, although it hasn't quite warmed up yet, I couldn't be more excited for spring! I am definitely looking forward to pulling out my Jacks and chinos and wearing my favorite Lilly dresses!

Sugar Cookie Pie

Ingredients

• 1 pie crust

• 1 stick butter, melted

• ½ cup sugar

• 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 3 eggs

• 1 package  frosted grocery store sugar cookies, cut into chunks

Preheat oven to 350. Place all of the cookie chunks in the frozen pie crust. Mix butter, sugar, flour, eggs and vanilla in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the cookie chunks, and make sure all of the cookies are covered with the butter mixture. Bake for 30-40 minutes until pie crust and filling are golden brown.

Tomorrow is Pi day (3/14) and we are celebrating in my AP Calculus class with lots and lots of pie! This is the recipe I made to share. Let me know if you try it out!

I have just been loving the new Lilly collection. I am really trying to hold back on buying one until there is some type of sale or deal going on at my local Lilly store, as I already have a few dresses from last summer that have yet to be worn!
