I just recently got back from college orientation and have begun to purchase my back-to-school necessities. I'm going to school in the south (Go Dawgs!) and these are a few of the things that I know I will be using a ton!

What are your back to school essentials?

Colonial Williamsburg

I spent this warm July morning exploring Colonial Williamsburg with my family. I finally had the chance to wear my favorite Lilly Pulitzer dress from last summer's collection. It is very simple and has beautiful detailing. I paired the dress with my well-loved black Jack Rogers. Colonial Williamsburg has so many interesting buildings with great history behind them, and it was great to spend the morning out and about!

Jellies Be Jammin'

I started crafting for my dorm over the weekend and wanted to share my first piece with y'all! I chose to paint the Lilly print Jellies Be Jammin' and I am very happy with the way it turned out! I can't wait to display it in my dorm room this fall!

Graduation Dresses

Graduation dates are quickly approaching, which means for some, it is time to find the perfect dress! My graduation gown is gold, so I am required to wear a white dress underneath, as are most girls. I found the perfect Lilly Pulitzer dress for my graduation back during the New Year Cheer sale, but these are my favorite newly released dresses that would be perfect for the occasion!

Spring has finally sprung, although it hasn't quite warmed up yet, I couldn't be more excited for spring! I am definitely looking forward to pulling out my Jacks and chinos and wearing my favorite Lilly dresses!

I have just been loving the new Lilly collection. I am really trying to hold back on buying one until there is some type of sale or deal going on at my local Lilly store, as I already have a few dresses from last summer that have yet to be worn! 1. Whats your definition of preppy? To me, "preppy" is a way of life and style. It is very classic, sharp and put-together, but fun at the same time.

2.Whats your all time favorite brand? (I can't just choose one) Lilly Pulitzer and J. Crew

3.What is your favorite Lilly item/ What is your favorite print? I love all of my Lilly shift dresses, I couldn't just choose one! My favorite print would have to be either the new Written in the Sun or Get Nauti

4. Favorite preppy Youtuber? Sarahbelle93x of course!

5. Jack Rogers or Sperry Topsiders? Definitely Jack Rogers! I wore mine almost every day last summer!

6. Jeans or Khakis? Jeans

7. Opinion on Oxfords? I love them, and usually wear them a few times a week

8. Duck boots, Riding Boots, or Hunters? Depends on the outfit; I wear my riding boots with dressier outfits, and my Hunter boots when I "dress down".

9. Navy or Black? Definitely navy!

10. On a scale of 1-10 how much do you love J.Crew? 11

11. Favorite Ralph Lauren clothing item? My black quarter zip pullover sweater!

12. Pearls or bows? I love both, but I wear pearls more often.

Lilly New Year Cheer Sale

I was delighted to find my Lilly order from the New Year Cheer Sale today when I arrived home from school. For those of you who don't know, Lilly Pulitzer holds two semi-annual online sales throughout the year; one at the beginning of the New Year and one at the end of summer (Endless Summer Sale). The prices are great, but the products sell out very quickly. Fortunately, I was able to sneak in a little bit of shopping during class, and ended up with four beautiful Lilly purchases!

Black Friday

 On Black Friday, I spent the morning and afternoon shopping with all of the other crazy shoppers of America! I ended up getting some really nice clothing pieces and accessories at great prices! I started my day out with some Starbucks right when we arrived at the mall, and then went to Lilly Pulitzer, Nordstrom, Aerie, American Eagle, Anthropologie, Free People, Sephora, and, of course, J. Crew! I will admit that I did some minor damage to my bank account (woops!) but it was worth it! I can't wait to style the pieces that I bought in upcoming posts! What purchases did you make on Black Friday?

My Lilly Dresses

This past year I have become more and more of a Lilly lover. For the past few years I have been using Lilly Pulitzer agendas, but I bought my first shift dress this year. It is an addiction. I have three so far, and I will definitely be getting more in the future. They're so comfortable and perfect. I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear mine. Even people who would not wear Lilly say that they love them. They are super comfortable and can make any day brighter. These three dresses are my favorite pieces in my closet!

Lilly Pulitzer Unboxing: Endless Summer Sale {1}

I just got one of my orders from the Lilly Pulitzer ESS, and i'm super excited about it! For those of you who don't know, Lilly Pulitzer has a 3 day sale each year, and most summer and spring items are marked WAY down! Although for the past 2 years, the site hasn't been the most customer friendly, the staff at Lilly are always helpful and the shipping was very very fast!

This dress, the Ginny dress, caught my eye as soon as the sale opened up! Originally $188, it was marked down to $49!

Today I went shopping with my Mom and my Mom's best friend at a local town's annual sidewalk sale!  I got a lot of really good items, which I wasn't expecting since today was the last day of the sale, and i wanted to share them with y'all!

The local Lilly Pulitzer store was having 50-70% off of spring and summer styles! I think i tried on 5 dresses, 2 shirts, a sweater and 2 pairs of shorts in total and got 1 dress, a pair of shorts and the sweater. It literally took forever, but i am really happy about the items that i got!

Next we went to Francesca's! This is one of my favorite stores, they have really cute clothes and decent prices. They were having BOGO 50% off of clothing, so i used that to my advantage and got a top and a dress. I also got a statement necklace! Lastly we went to a store that sells brands like Vineyard Vines and Southern Proper. I got a new t-shirt from Southern Proper.

We went to a deli for lunch and an ice cream shop in the afternoon! It was a beautiful day, and a good way to start winding down the summer!
