Sail Bows

I recently received this adorable bow from SailBows! As y'all know, I love bows. They can be worn in so many different ways, so today I decided to style this beauty a little bit differently! I clipped it to my new lavender Fossil crossbody bag! It adds a great pop of color and looks gorgeous! This bow is the perfect size and great quality, and attaches with a french barrette. I have been admiring SailBows' Etsy shop for a long time, and am so glad I finally got my hands on one!

Spring 2014 Lilly Favorites

I have just been loving the new Lilly collection. I am really trying to hold back on buying one until there is some type of sale or deal going on at my local Lilly store, as I already have a few dresses from last summer that have yet to be worn! These four dresses are my favorite (as of now), what are your favorites from the new collection?

Pinterest looks that I'm loving

I love to wear flannels in the fall and winter with a statement necklace. The layered coat with a fur collar is a perfect way to finish off the look.

This Lilly Pulitzer Hera dress is one of my favorite dresses from the fall/winter collection. It's stunning!

I love the look of this long sleeved peplum top and dark pants. Very simple, yet sophisticated.

The Herringbone vest is, of course, one of my favorite pieces for this fall. I love the layered flannel and sweater underneath.

My newest splurge!

I have been eyeing the Tory Burch 'Amanda Crossbody' for a long time. I used to contemplate buying it every time I saw it online or in a department store. Tory Burch is my absolute favorite designer; all of her products have a very classy aesthetic.

This past weekend I was at my favorite mall, in my favorite five story Nordstrom, and happened to see my favorite bag. Nordstrom just so happened to be offering twenty percent off the original price on most designer brands. I, of course, took advantage of this and finally bought the bag I had been lusting over for a year.

I am so glad I finally bought it. I love crossbody bags, and this one is just perfect! It holds my keys, ID, cards, makeup, phone and more. Definitely worth the price!

Tuesday Two {9}

I was pleasantly surprised to find this bow belt at my Target after seeing it all over Instagram! I have already worn it once, and it is absolutely perfect for the holiday season!

I bought this Clinique Chubby Stick in Mega Melon last winter while shopping on Fifth Avenue, and have recently started using it more frequently. It is the perfect neutral-pink for my skin tone!

The third book in the Divergent Trilogy was released this past week, and I just got my pre-ordered copy yesterday. I am already on page 230- I can't put it down!

This past Saturday I went to the Clemson vs. Maryland game. I had a lot of fun and I was so glad that Clemson won!
I hope y'all had a good weekend and a good start to your week! Leave me your #TuesdayTwo in the comments below!

Skirts and Scarves

This week has been the first genuinely cool fall week where I live! Fall is my absolute favorite season, partly because of the fashion. I paired this J. Crew skirt with a white long-sleeve t-shirt, and then added a bright scarf and neutral dotted tights.

Pearls, Monograms and Leopard Print

I just love the way this look turned out. I wore it to my Mom's birthday dinner last weekend and it was perfect! All over Pinterest I have seen looks that layer monogram necklaces and pearls.  This multistrand pearl necklace is absolutely perfect for doing just so! The shoes really add a statement to this fairly simple outfit.

How have you styled pearls and/or monograms?

Twenties Glamour

After seeing The Great Gatsby, I have fallen in love with the looks from the 1920s. It was an era of pure glam. I have seen quite a bit of fashion lately that looks to be inspired by the 1920s.

The Dress

Many of the dresses of the Twenties were full of glitter, sparkles and sequins and could easily be the center of attention. This Lilly Pulitzer Dress immediately caught my eye and reminded me of the Twenties.

 The Headpiece

In the Great Gatsby, all of the women can be seen wearing extravagant head pieces. This subtle but eye catching Anthropologie Headband would easily dress up an outfit.

The Pearls

Pearls will always be a symbol of class and elegance. This strand of Pearls would be the perfect addition to any preppy outfit.

Becoming a Better Runner

For the past few months I have gotten in the routine of running everyday. I am not going to lie, I haven't always been such an avid runner, I used to despise running. While on vacation this past summer I decided to give it a go, and now I love running! Usually, I run on my treadmill but I will occasionally run outside if the weather is nice! At first it wasn't so great, but now that I have my systematic way of running, it has become another part of my life. Here are some of my tips on becoming a runner...

1. Wear good socks- This first tip may seem a little strange, but I have found that good socks make a world of a difference! These Asics socks are my favorite.

2. Wear supportive running shoes- Next, of course, is having supportive running shoes! Good shoes help to protect from injury. Nike is my favorite brand for running shoes. I just recently bought these Nike Air Relentless 2 running shoes, and I love them so far! I literally ran straight through the soles of my old Nikes, so it was time for a new pair!

3. Listen to upbeat music- Running to fast paced music will help keep you motivated and set your pace for running! Pandora Radio has some great fitness stations for working out!

4. Keep your body hydrated- Staying hydrated before, during and after working out is essential to your health. My favorite water bottle to use while working out is the Camelback Eddy Water Bottle

5. Stay motivated- Many people have a hard time staying motivated to work out. Personally, running makes me feel a whole lot better after a stressful day, and keeps me fit! Just remind yourself of all of benefits and stay motivated!

Tuesday Two {3}

I had seen these Leopard Print Pumps all over Instagram and on Belles in Bows, and I could no longer resist from buying them. To make it even better, Target was having buy one get one half off when I bought them!

Ever since I saw The Great Gatsby in theaters, I have been obsessed with the soundtrack. The music is current, but fits the 1920s party atmosphere of the movie perfectly! Bang Bang by will.i.am is my current favorite!

Hope y'all are having a happy Tuesday! Let me know what your #TuesdayTwo is!

Scallops Galore

The scallop trend has really taken off in the past year or so. I absolutely love the trend myself, and wore it quite a bit during the spring and summer! Scallops are still in for the fall season; here are a few of my favorite scalloped finds!

I had been eyeing the monogrammed crossbodies that I kept seeing on Instagram, so I finally caved and bought one for myself! I just received it today and I love it! I can't wait to use this bag, as a clutch and as a crossbody. It will definitely be in an upcoming fashion post!
