1. Whats your definition of preppy? To me, "preppy" is a way of life and style. It is very classic, sharp and put-together, but fun at the same time.

2.Whats your all time favorite brand? (I can't just choose one) Lilly Pulitzer and J. Crew

3.What is your favorite Lilly item/ What is your favorite print? I love all of my Lilly shift dresses, I couldn't just choose one! My favorite print would have to be either the new Written in the Sun or Get Nauti

4. Favorite preppy Youtuber? Sarahbelle93x of course!

5. Jack Rogers or Sperry Topsiders? Definitely Jack Rogers! I wore mine almost every day last summer!

6. Jeans or Khakis? Jeans

7. Opinion on Oxfords? I love them, and usually wear them a few times a week

8. Duck boots, Riding Boots, or Hunters? Depends on the outfit; I wear my riding boots with dressier outfits, and my Hunter boots when I "dress down".

9. Navy or Black? Definitely navy!

10. On a scale of 1-10 how much do you love J.Crew? 11

11. Favorite Ralph Lauren clothing item? My black quarter zip pullover sweater!

12. Pearls or bows? I love both, but I wear pearls more often.

After all of the snow we have gotten in the past few months, I sure am ready for Spring and warmer weather! This week is actually supposed to be in the 40s and 50s where I live, so it is definitely putting me in the mood for Spring! These pieces are some of my favorites for everyday wear in the Spring!

Valentine's Day Treat

Every year at Christmas time, my family makes "Belly Buttons" with pretzels, Hershey's kisses and M&Ms. I saw this adorable version of Valentine's Day "Belly Buttons" and thought that they would be the perfect treat!

Ingredients:

Mini Snyder's Pretzels

Valentine's Day M&Ms

Hershey's heart shaped candies

Heart shaped sprinkles

Recipe: 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. On a baking sheet, top each pretzel with a heart candy. Heat the baking sheet with the pretzels and candies for 1-2 minutes. After the candy is melted enough, place an M&M on top of each chocolate candy, and add heart shaped sprinkles.

10 Things That Make Me Happy

I have seen this post and similar posts going around in the blogging community and on YouTube, so I figured that I would make one as well so that y'all could get to know me better! I love the idea of this post; it brings such a positive vibe with it and it is amazing to see the varying things that make people happy!

1. New York City- 

I love traveling to NYC for a short weekend trip. Just being in the city improves my overall attitude and wellbeing. I love all of the different things that the city brings, whether it be the many food choices or finding a cute new store. New York has it all!

2. Getting mail- 

I am always eager to check the mail. It is so nice to get a handwritten letter, new magazine, or even some coupons in the mail.

3. Cozy sweatshirts- 

My favorite thing to wear on a lazy day is a sweatshirt, especially if it is new and fuzzy on the inside!

4. Running- 

I love to exercise, and running is probably my favorite way to do cardio. I usually run on a treadmill and listen to a playlist on my phone.

5. Buying, wrapping, and giving gifts- 

I absolutely love hunting down the perfect gift for someone. Being able to purchase a gift that you know they will love is just great! I also love to wrap them and make the aesthetic of the gift just pretty in general. I always love getting gifts with cute wrapping and decorations, and have turned that love into something I can do for others!

6. Birthdays- 

I love, love, love birthdays. Whether it be my birthday or celebrating someone else's birthday, there is always happiness in the air!

7. Buying the perfect item for yourself- 

I have always loved the feeling I get when I find the perfect item while shopping, whether that be a new purse or a Lilly dress, it always makes me so excited to get home, take it out of it's bag, and put it to use.

8. Flowers- 

I love seeing all of the flower choices at the grocery store. It is, of course, always wonderful when I receive flowers from someone else!

9. Dessert- 

Sweets are my favorite. I love to bake, so finding new recipes and trying them out is always fun! Having a warm gooey cookie with ice cream, or a piece of cake with rich frosting after a good meal is always something to look forward to.

10. A good book- 

Reading has always been a favorite pastime of mine. Finding a new series and reading the entire thing within a few days or weeks is a guilty pleasure of mine. I love being taken in by the story lines and being right there alongside the main character.

This past summer I spent my birthday at Georgetown University's Medical school, and got to work with cadavers and learn to suture

Blogger Breakfast in Bed

Dorothy at Prep In Your Step came up with the fantastic idea of a blogger breakfast in bed, giving bloggers everywhere a chance to collaborate on one topic and answer some fun questions! This morning I am enjoying my daily breakfast of fruit and yogurt with lots and lots of coffee (of course)! I love to start off with a healthy breakfast to put the rest of my day on track!

What is the first thing you do on a lazy Saturday morning?

Put on my warm and comfortable sweatpants and make a pot of coffee
